PDQ User Guide

Here's a simple guide on receiving payments through the new OmniPay PDQ Application via Card Machine.


First, select the OmniPay application from the Home Screen.

 

 





















Note: You don't need a user ID or Password to log in to the new OmniPay PDQ Application. However, you need to enter your PIN to access the refund page.

Feature 1: Sale

  1. To take payments, Click on the Sale tile.
  1. Upon clicking, it directs you to a screen where you can enter the Sales value and Transaction Reference.



  1. Enter the amount customers need to pay and reference (for example, type the description, such as the item they're paying for).
  2. Next, click the "Sale" button to continue to the next page.
Note: The reference column is an optional field; therefore, you can ignore it.



  1. You can collect Contactless payments by tapping on the top of the Card Machine or Swipe or inserting Card.
  2. If you're processing a transaction without a physical card, please click on Card Not Present and process the payment.




Note: At the bottom of the print receipt, you will find a four-digit Auth Code for each successful transaction. If, the sale is successful and there's no Auth code present on the receipt, please collect the Card Holder's contact details.


Feature 2: Refund

  1. Click on the Refund.

















  1. It redirects you to the next page, where you have to enter your password.






















  1. Enter your 4-digit PIN.

 

Note: The default PIN for the terminal is 1234. We would recommend you change the PIN as you receive the card terminal.


You can find the Change PIN option under the settings. If you forgot your PIN, please click on customer support at the bottom of the screen. One of our team members will be able to virtually connect with your terminal and reset the PIN for you.
  1. Enter the refund amount and reference.
  2. Click on the refund button.


  1. When initiating a refund, ensure you insert the customer's card into the terminal.
  2. Next, it asks for the cardholder's PIN.
  3. Enter the PIN and complete the refund process.



Feature 3: Settings

  1. The settings feature consists of WIFI Settings, Change PIN and the Forgot PIN option.


  1. To change the PIN, you will have to enter your four-digit current PIN and then set up a new 4-digit PIN.
  2. Then, click the Done button.
